Protagonist Chris Hemsworth had to impressively lose weight to become the First Mate physically affected by the shipwreck; by his side, a notable cast with names such as Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Brendan Gleeson, Ben Whishaw and Michelle Fairley. Based on the novel " In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex " by Nathaniel Philbrick, it is meant to be one of the most exciting adventure movies of the year.
